Is there an IOS app to control my Apple TV box?

Is there an app in the Apple App Store that can control the Apple television box… I have a friend who has the SE latest addition

Set up the Apple TV Remote on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support describes how to access "Apple TV Remote in Control Center."

The Apple TV Remote in Control Center is standard available since iOS 12, and installable since iOS 11. It can control Apple TV (3rd generation or later), as long as they’re on the the same network.

The similar app from the App Store is no longer available, but if it was downloaded before last fall, then it could (and can) control Apple TV (2nd generation or later).
