Apple TV HD 4th gen and Sony tv

I just got my Apple TV box connected to Sony Bravia TV, everything works well except that it only displays black and white. The HDMI cable has been used to connect my Macbook Pro with the same TV and it works fine with colors, and I can cast my Macbook Pro Youtube to the same TV with color too. Seems like it's the tv box that's causing the issue.

I have tried restarting my tv, apple tv, and also switching HDMI slots on my tv. Nothing works.

Any comments on how to fix the color problem please? Thanks.
