My predictive text will not include the 1st letter of the 1st word. Happens in all applications that uses a keyboard. Here is a screen shot. I'm typing Apple but my predictive text suggests "ppl"

Predictive text missing for just one non Apple application I am running a 3rd party application, for which predictive text worked fine for the last year. However, for this app (which I have also deleted and re-installed), no longer shows the predictive information when the keyboard is active. I seem to remember that I inadvertently might have "swiped it away" when entering data one day (although I am not 100% sure), but regardless, I cannot get it to re-appear permanently for this app. I should note that I can get it to temporarily appear by holding my finger on the letter I would like to have it use for the predictive function, but then it immediately disappears once a choice is made, never to re-appear. Any thoughts?

Predictive text I’ve got a very strange problem. Whenever I type the word fishing or simply the start fi the predictive text comes up with “weird shit” and puts it in the text. It even did it while I was typing this. This is not a joke. It’s infuriating as I’m a fly fisherman so I use the word a lot. How do I get rid of the predictive text problem?!

How to turn off Black Suggestion Box - Predictive Text I love predictive text, but lately, in addition to the normal text selections, there is now a black box above those suggestions, which is making different suggestions. See the attached screen shote. I would like to turn off that black box, while keeping predictive text. Anyone know how to do that/

Are you using any third-party keyboard?

I installed SwiftKey hoping that would solve the problem. It didn't. So., yes I have a 3rd party keyboard but the problem existed prior to it being installed.
