HomeKit shortcut implementation

I ran into a few issues with the shortcut support in HomeKit. There are plenty of things who are possible with the Shortcuts app but not in the shortcuts in HomeKit. For example, it is not possible to send notifications from a HomeKit shortcut / automation / scene.

Sending HTTP POST request messages is also very limited in HomeKit while this works a lot better and easier in the Shortcuts app.

Why is it not possible to trigger shortcuts created in the Shortcuts app from HomeKit? That would make HomeKit automations and scenes a hole lot more powerful!
