Screen sharing with a Mini M1 - cannot re-connect

Dear all,

I used screen sharing quite often with my old Mac mini (Late 2012) from my business MacBook Pro running Catalina. Since I upgraded to a Mac mini with M1 (now running 11.2.1) the screen sharing dies after some time (for example when my MacBook Pro went to sleep) and I am not able to connect to the Mini via Screen sharing anymore. The only way to re-connect is to disable screen sharing and re-enable it again. Any idea what is causing that issue?
