Can’t make calls on Whatsapp.

Hi, I can’t make calls via WhatsApp to some people in the last 2 weeks and yet with some other people it works. I updated to the latest iOS in the last couple of weeks and I’m wondering if that’s why. I haven’t made any other changes to my phone and yet all WhatsApp calls were fine until recently.
