I keep getting an error message when my phone is trying to find a network, telling me “that an update is required to use mobile data on the iPhone”

I never had a problem up until about 4days ago the signal drops in and out and I have had the SIM card changed and it hasn’t resolved the issue.

can anyone help?

You need a cellular update. Ask your carrier for help.

I have already asked them and they have just said that it’s the phone that’s the problem, it isn’t brande new brought it second hand, is there no way that i can do it?
