44mm braided solo loop on 40mm watch?

Has anyone tried this? I noticed the braided solo loop leaves a gap open on the side of the watch so I was wondering if it would be possible to put a 44mm braided solo loop on a 40mm watch to close that gape since the 44mm bands are a little wider.

Apple Watch Ultra locking while on wrist I have an Apple Watch Ultra running the latest release (9.1 build 20S75) and have had continuous issues with the watch locking itself. It has occurred while wearing multiple types of straps including the Ocean Band, Sport Loop, and the Alpine Loop. I wear my bands pretty tight (tight enough that they leave indentations on my wrist 360 degrees). I've worn Apple Watches since 2016, and this only started happening with Watch OS 9 / Apple Watch Ultra. Pace range alerts (custom outdoor running workouts) issue after 9.2 WatchOS update Weird obscure issue started happening after the upgrade to 9.2. I would like help on this in case I am missing something (to be clear, Apple, this is not a poll). When i go into workout settings for an outdoor run and try to set my pace range alerts, i only have 4 options under the Upper Limit. When I look at my previous settings, it show's for example that my Upper Limit was set to 11'00" But when I click on Upper Limit and go to that screen, the scrolling selection options are only 3'00", 3'10", 3'20", 3'30" --- doesn't matter what lower limit is set to. I've restarted the watch (and iphone) and tried creating new run workouts without seeing this behavior change. I've got a support req in and waiting for a callback but figured I'd post, as well. Phone is 14 pro max and is also on the latest OS update.

Outdoor run race route Hey, I've got the latest update for the apple watch and was keen to compete against my previous runs. I have done the same 'route' including start & stop same spot. Same duration run. Exact same course many many times before. but when i select outdoor run - route - nothing appears. I've given it a few days to collect the data and hope they will appear but nothing. I have checked with other apple watch users who run less frequently and have completed less runs on their routes and theirs are appearing. So not sure what i'm doing wrong. Thanks.

I would suggest not doing it.

38mm and 40mm watch faces use the same band

42mm and 44mm use the same band

What Size Watch Band Does My Watch Band Take

In the Watch app on your iPhone go to My Watch, then at the top of the page tap All Watches. You will see the entry for your watch, including the case size. This tells you which band size you need to order, for 38/40mm or 40/44 mm case.
