Validation Code for MacBook Air Set Up

I’m setting up my Mac. When I type in the Verification Code to continue, I’m unable to continue (the Continue icon doesn’t light up to allow me to click on it - I can only click on Back). I’ve put in several codes and this keeps happening. Any suggestions? Thanks.
