Shift+command+4 has a delay

Turn off Timer

and

Turn off floating Thumbnail

This will set the options for your Shift Command 4

Did you choose a location in this same> option "Save to" ... ? as the default in Shift Command 5

Did you select the far left option here> "Select entire screen" as the default in Shift Command 5
