Setting up an out-of-office reply

Hi there,

I'm struggling to find in Google how to set up an out-of-office reply in Apple Mail on my iPhone 7. Can someone please tell me how to do this. When I've Googled it it says go to "Settings" then "Accounts and Passwords" but I don't have "Accounts and Passwords" when I go into "Settings", only "Passwords" so I can't progress any further.

Help please!!!

Thanks!

Bettina

I did the search as well and got the same results from 2019 and most responses were geared toward iOS 13 where Accounts & Passwords setting existed. You are on iOS 14 now and things have changed in that area in this iOS version.

Open Settings âž” Mail âž” Accounts : Select email account âž” Automatic Replies (located all the way down).

NOTE - Automatic Replies option will only appear, as shown above, IF the email account that you are using allows it in the Apple Mail app.
