When you post here seeking help, give us enough useful information to help you. Just telling us that your anonymous Canon PIXMA model cannot scan is insufficient, as Canon makes many PIXMA models and not all have driver support for Big Sur.
Once you share the explicit model number of your PIXMA device, then we can check different avenues of support for you.
Hello tuupur,
From what you've shared it sounds like you're attempting to scan documents, and we'd like to share a resource that can help. Review how to scan in macOS Big Sur here: Scan images or documents using your Mac
Take care!
tuupur,
If you haven't already, we recommend reviewing the steps listed here: Set up a scanner to use with Mac
Should the behavior persist we recommend contacting Canon directly for additional steps to set up your device with macOS Big Sur: Support for Printers
Take care.
Hi!
Thanks, but no help, I red already articles you sent. As I told, there is no "scan" option at all, printer is connected and you still can print, maintain etc. Before upgrading there was scan option, its gone after "big sur", I downloaded driver from canon homepage (didn't need before), I deleted and reconnected printer, wired and wirelessly, tried it all. Thanks in advance.
Best Regards!

Yes, I did tried everything listed here before already.
Older OS version (such as EL capitan) show scan option.
I guess there no driver for scanner yet, maybe never will be
Stay safe.
