Export photos in notes to pdf

I am creating a document in notes with drawings pictures and typing. When i go to share notes > markup and convert to pdf, i get the full document with typing and drawings shown. Where the photos are supposed to be however i only get blank pages. Just before the pdf renders i get a message that says the files are unsupported.

all photos were taken with my iphone. But i am creating the note from my ipad

okay i have discovered that marking up a photo is what is causing the issue. This bums me out as i like that feature. Any help is welcome

Hey Myapplequest,

Sounds like you're trying to markup photos taken by your iPhone, on your iPad, in the Notes app and then export the note as a PDF but having issues doing so because the files are unsupported. We'd be happy to help.

We can confirm that this works as expected while testing with a screenshot on our Mac, marking it up, and exporting the PDF from Notes, so the issue seems as though it may be isolated to the format of the photos being used in your case.

If you take a photo with your iPad and test further, do you notice the same behavior?

Let us know what you find out!

Take care.
