2017 MacBook Pro keyboard won’t work to log in

Hi! I have a 2017 MacBook Pro. I believe it updated overnight and I’ve tried to use it today but the keyboard isn’t working/responding so I can’t even log in to the computer and the mousepad just feels off. I’ve tried the trusty on and off trick, restarts and plugging in another keyboard but it’s just not working. Please help!

Sounds like you've tried some good steps so far. What happens when you try using another keyboard? Do you get any indication that the keys are working on that second keyboard? Have you tried to reset the SMC on your Mac? If not, let's have you try that now: How to reset the SMC of your Mac.
