Confused by different levels for profile and specialty

I got the message that I just leveled up your Apple Watch Specialty to Level 2! See it on your profile...but then under my profile I'm still at Level 1 (17 points). Thats a bit confusing for a newbie like me and perhaps not so well described on the specialty page either.

I now get it that overall level and specialty level are two different things...but I think it would be better if some other terms were used for these two. Right now its a bit misleading (and a bit of disappointing too), since it turns out I have a long way to go still....
