iPhone location blue circle

How accurate is the blue circle for my friends location on the Find My APP? I understand the persons location could be anywhere in the blue circle, I’m wondering if the blue circle is 100% true.

Location services What does it mean when there is a filled purple arrow next to "Find my iPhone" when looking in: Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services - when I have not used find my iPhone recently? Is this the same app used for my friends to see my shared location? Does it just mean one of them looked to see my location recently? Or is the app continuously checking my location when I don’t use it?

Find my friends: location accuracy If the blue/yellow circle is with a building, is there a possibility that they could be outside of that circle, in another building? That is, does it ever give the wrong approximation of their location? How accurate is the location of the circle? I understand that the purpose of the circle is to show that they are somewhere within that range, but is that range ever inaccurate?

We understand you're wondering if the location you see in Find My is completely accurate. Find My uses Location Services of a device to find the location of the device. Please read the information below, from the following article, about Location Services: Turn Location Services and GPS on or off on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

"Location Services uses GPS and Bluetooth (where they're available), along with crowd-sourced Wi-Fi hotspots and cellular towers to determine the approximate location of your device."
