Duplicates in iTunes....identifying and deleting.

Hello,

I know how to access and display a list of duplicate tracks ( about 200 ) in my iTunes library.

However, many of these tracks with duplicates will be in my dozen or so Playlists.

Therefore I'm assuming that if I delete a track from the duplicates that is the version in my playlist then I will lose it from my playlist ?

If so, is there a way of knowing which of the duplicates are in my playlists, so that I don't delete the wrong one and jeopardise my playlists ?

I feel that I'm asking too much of iTunes here but if anyone can help I'd appreciate it.
