Polar H10 & Apple Watch
Hi All,
My question has been asked by others in the past. I recently (in Feb., 2021) an Apple Watch SE together with a Polar H10 heart rate monitor. I’ve noticed that the Polar H10 frequently disconnects from the Watch (E.g., in settings > Bluetooth > Health Devices, the Polar H10 is listed as “not connected” despite the fact that, just moments before, I had established a connection. When this happens, I reconnect the Polar H10 only to find, moments later, that it is once again disconnected). This has become really irritating considering how expensive these devices are.
Ive tried all of the fixes listed in other discussions on both Apple’s and Polar’s websites, including: disconnecting the Polar H10 from both the Watch and iPhone, turning off the Watch and iPhone, then turning them back on to reconnect the H10; resetting the H10’s factory settings; and even connecting the H10 to the Watch, only. So far, no luck.
Any thoughts on why this happens? Is this a problem with other Bluetooth, chest-strap heart rate monitors; or is it unique to the Apple/Polar system? Should I just return the H10 and get a different chest strap monitor?
So annoying!
Thank you for any suggestions.
