Apple is refusing to refund. They are breaking my rights
I have been denied a refund of an Apple TV, so what happened is that i received an empty box of the Apple TV, therefore i asked for a refund, instead i got a replacement so i called Apple and they confirmed that i will be refunded the full €216 when i returned the product back to Apple, the product arrived and they confirmed that the delivery was a success, yet now they say they cannot refund me as the original investigation said the empty box was not Apple's fault and so they don't want to refund me the €216. Therefore, i come here to ask for the refund. They said that the theft was not in the Apple Warehouse or the Corrier (deliver company) and that it might have been stolen at my doorstep. To this i have multiple things to say, firstly, when I bought the product it indicated that a signature was required and Legally until I have signed the package if the package is stolen it is not my fault, if the package was stolen at my doorstep it is not my fault and there is nothing i can do because legally Apple and any company for that matter have to make me sign for the package legally and cannot just leave it there for anyone to steal, and the fact they didn't is very confusing for an item costing more then 200, also even if they cannot find what problem went wrong, that is not my fault. Even if they cannot find the problem in their part the fact of the matter is that I never got the product nor did i ever sign for the product therefore someone stealing it in the apple warehouse, Corrier delivery or at my doorstep is Apple's fault no matter what, even if they can't find what happened, it is not my job nor the police's job to investigate, and by the way i have contacted the police, the police did not refuse my complaint, they only told me that a complaint for theft against the package would be useless because in most cases, the complaint is never successful and constitutes a wasteful use of resources. Also, I was told that i would get a full refund when i returned the replacement, therefore Apple cannot now say they cannot because this would be a blatant lie as I had the Apple TV replacement and I used the 14-day return policy to get a full refund of the €216 (which i was confirmed i would get by Apple's employee), therefore by your own policy you must refund me that amount. All of this proves that legally Apple must refund me the full €216. I have shown why Apple must refund me legally, please do it soon. This has already taken way too long for what it is. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Apple don't want to refund me, but i don't want to lose my €216, please help.
Thanks
