Add a server folder to "Go" menu?

There is one folder on a server that I go to all the time. I would like to add that folder to my "go" menu. Can that be done?

You cannot modify the Finder's Go menu as that is compiled into the application. What you can do, is in System Preferences > General set the Recent Items stack to a larger value in hopes that it will also increase your Recent Folders list accordingly.

You can assign an unused keyboard shortcut to a specific folder entry in the Recent Folders sub-menu. That would be done in System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > App Shortcuts.

+ to add Finder
Menu Title: General
Keyboard Shortcut: enter control+G here or some other unused shortcut
Add

The keyboard shortcut will now appear on your Recent Folders > General menu item.

I use that keyboard short cut to connect to the server every morning. But my question is different. My question is about creating a short cut to one particular folder on that server.

The server has scores of folders on it. I am interested in only one. Let's call it "General." Within "General" are scores more folders. When I am working on any of these sub-folders, both their names and "General" appear in the Go>Recent Folders. But as I move around among the folders on the server and the folders on my Mac, all of the folders move off Go>Recent Folders. If I do enough work on what is on my Mac, even "General" disappears from Go>Recent Folders.

The Go menu has many standard items in its menu. These are Recents, Documents, Desktop, Downloads, Home, etc. What I would like to do is to add to that Go menu one more folder. That one more folder is "General." Can that be done?
