You cannot directly gift a subscription, but you can email a gift card that can be loaded to the recipients Apple ID balance. Then they can use that balance to buy subscriptions like Apple Music, Apple Arcade, or Apple TV+. Or they can buy apps, movies, books, and more from Apple.
