When I went to go and check the warranty on my iPad it said ''Repairs and Service Coverage: Consumer Law May Apply'.


What does this mean?

It means that your local laws, in particular laws concerning the relations between companies and consumers (users), may have provisions that change or override the printed warranty. (For example, some countries require that warranties have a certain minimum length.) Check with a lawyer familiar with consumer protection laws in your locality.
