The microphone key has disappeared from my iPad keyboard after the last update. Enable dictation is not under the keyboard settings any longer. Any suggestions how to put it back on the keyboard?

It turns out after I updated to Big Sur my iPad and MacBook Pro connected and used the same settings for screen time. I had the iPad locked down for my daughter. After disabling screen time for both, I was able to enable Siri thus dictation. Thank goodness my husband is an IT with an amazing assistant (with many years in Mac support) and they both finally made time for me.

Dictation is not available in all languages, or in all countries.
