How do I set the time? I traveled to Florida from Oklahoma and back and it stayed on Florida time?

Did this also happen on the paired iPhone? If so, on your iPhone, tap on

Settings > General > Date & Time

and make sure the right time zone is selected.


On your Watch, Press the Digital Crown

  • go to Settings
  • Select Clock (or Time)
  • +0 min (Using the Digital Crown to increase or decrease the time moved forward)


If all that is OK and you still have problems, the first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.
