Right now it either shows me "notification" with no update as to whom has sent the message, or it shows the entire message in the preview. Where's the happy medium?!
I've looked under Settings>Notifications and no luck.

Do you currently have Lock Screen, Notification, and Banner notifications for Messages enabled? Also, you can adjust previews for your Message notifications here as well if you scroll down a bit, as some people prefer to keep their message contents private in their notifications, but still want to know who sent them a message and when.
