How can I use my new iPod Touch without having to continually enter passwords? I would like it to be as siple to use as my iPod nanao.

I would like to be able to use my just-acquired iPod-Touch as simply as I used to do on my recently-died iPod-Nano for downloading playlists from iTunes on my PC and then playing them on the iPod without having to type a password. Is that possible? If so, how?

iPod, iOS 14

Hi robertws,

If we're understanding things correctly, you'd like to switch your iPod touch to not use a passcode to login to it. We can help with providing info on getting that accomplished.

Note that some features may require that there's a passcode in place on the device. However, you may find the steps on turning off the passcode here: Set a passcode on iPod touch

Take care!
