My iPad doesn’t seem to have a MMS feature?

wrote a txt message on iPad mini 5 and it says you must have mms enabled but I don’t see anywhere to do this?

A text message would normally be SMS; MMS would be if you include something non-text like a photo.


In any event, no iPad has the hardware to send SMS/MMS messages across the cellular voice system like a phone can. Even the iPads with cellular hardware can only use the cellular data system.


If you also have an iPhone on the same Apple ID, you can have it relay messages to/from the SMS/MMS system.
