iPhone calls are silenced

Do not disturb is turned off! However under silence While iPhone is Locked is selected. You can not deselect it, you can either choose always or while iPhone is locked. Calls from my doctor do not ring through. This is a problem. Please advise. Software is updated and phone has been restarted. Problem still exists and I see others have this issue as well. I don’t see a solution that worked? Thank you!

Hi there babs821,

We understand you're not hearing notifications for calls, despite ensuring Do Not Disturb is off. Having to Select from either Always or While iPhone is locked in Do Not Disturb Settings is expected, but either would apply while the setting is disabled.

If you tap Settings > Notifications, are the types of notifications you expect to see enabled?

Are you being notified for things other than calls? If so, check the Manage Notifications section of the following page to ensure notifications for calls weren't set to Deliver Quietly: Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Cheers!
