Move ring changes next day

Several times now my move ring has revised itself the following day. Most recently - today I noticed that my move ring from Friday, which was at ~815 before bed had been “updated” to 730. What may be causing this? It is especially frustrating when working towards a goal and thinking you are on track - just to have it revised at a later time when it is too late to do anything to up it again.

Thanks for any suggestions!!

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.
