How to delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
you can delete from the App Library by locating the app and tap/hold, select Delete App
or you can go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > [app name] > Delete
If you still are unable to delete, check:
Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps
make sure that's set to 'Allow'

CHRIS 0107: You are a lifesaver! This is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve posted this question over the past couple of years and I always forget the answer (I am definitely printing your reply this time) and your reply is the first one that actually worked. Actually, I tried all 3 of your suggestions and they all worked. So easy. It would be so simple if Apply could just include something in Settings entitled “Remove Apps” in the main Settings menu. Some of us don’t know where to go, and when you have to go through 2 or 3 different areas to get there, how on earth would most of us be able to figure that out. And, I’ve gone to App Library multiple times and couldn’t figure out how to delete an app from there. Wouldn’t it be so simple for Apple to include your simple instruction to tap/hold and then select Delete - up at the top of the App Library page? And, Apple’s Help guide is pathetic. It takes you to information about the App Library and how to choose having new downloads go to your Home Screen or the App Library. It’s even followed by a section for Deleting Apps, but THEY LEFT OUT THE INSTRUCTIONS!!! APPLE: CLEAN THIS UP!
ANYWAY, CHRIS 0107, THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! YOU SHOULD GET TRIPLE POINTS FOR THIS!
And, if you see my earlier (tonight) post asking this question, you don’t need to reply to it now that I found your 2/20/21 reply.
Tnx, it’s work!
no problem, glad to be of help!
