The is a frequent page that pops up on my Mac telling me that my Mac is contaminated with three Trojan viruses. I don't think it is true. How can I verify it?

Of course it is not true. There are no viruses for Macs.

Providing a screenshot of this popping-up page would help. To do so:

1. Go here: Take a screenshot on your Mac - Apple Support

2. Which to Use:

• If a message of sorts, use: How to capture a window or menu
• If a window, use: How to capture a portion of the screen

3. Blank Out: any Personal Info

4. Provide: the screenshot in a reply.

No need to verify; it's adware/malware. You would not get a pop up from Apple or the OS.

I'd suggest downloading the free Malwarebytes for Mac just in case and running it. It takes care of such nuisances.
