Screen Calibration issues

I'm running a MacBook Pro 2018 and recently upgraded to Big Sur. I calibrate the screen with X-Rite. My problem is that the screen brightness goes down when the computer is powered off. I'm having to re-calibrate every 3 - 4 days. Auto-dimming features are all turned off. Anyone else having problems? Wish I'd stayed with Catalina.

iMac 27" 2017 screen at 40% brightness I have a 27" iMac 2017 running Catalina with a screen that occasionally does not go beyond 40% brightness. The keyboard function keys and the system preferences display slider indicate the screen is at 100%, but using either does not affect the screen brightness until I get to the 40% level, and below that it will dim further. I do not use the auto brightness adjustment option. Sometimes resetting the SMC works, sometimes it does not. I had this problem prior to upgrading to Catalina and was hopeful that the upgrade would eliminate the problem. My hopes have been dashed.

Brightness changing have a macbook pro 13 2014. Everything works fine on mac os mojave. When updating to mac os Catalina, changing the brightness of the screen does not work. The buttons themselves work, that is, you can see the brightness change icon on the screen, but the brightness does not change. I have been using brightness slider for a long time. Deciding to upgrade to mac os big sur, I was faced with the fact that when you click on the buttons, nothing happens at all, even the brightness change icon is not shown. And also when you exit sleep mode, the macbook itself works, but the screen does not. What can be in?

No. I have to admit that's still turned on. I'll switch it off and see if it helps. Thanks.
