Ubiolabs charging stand will not recognize my iPhone XS

Purchased a ubiolabs wireless universal fast charging stand. It will not recognize my iPhone XS, however it does recognize my daughter’s iPhone XS. I have removed the phone case and tried it both vertically and horizontally, turned the phone off and back on, no updates are pending on the phone. Does anyone have any more suggestions for me? Thank you.

Patches04,

If you are using a USB with the iPhone while it is on the wireless charger, that will prevent the charger from connecting with your iPhone. Do you have any issues charging the iPhone while it is connected using USB?

If not, is the iPhone currently charged more than 80%? If so, Optimized Charging may play a role here and slow or stop the charging process based on your charging habits. Try charging the iPhone when the percentage is below 80%.

Hi there Patches04!

Thank you for posting in Apple Communities. It sounds like you are having trouble charging your iPhone XS with your wireless charger. No worries, we will give you some information that will help guide you towards a solution.

Wireless charging uses magnetic induction to charge your iPhone. Don't place anything between your iPhone and the charger. Magnetic mounts, magnetic cases, or other objects between your iPhone and the charger might reduce performance or damage magnetic strips or RFID chips like those found in some credit cards, security badges, passports, and key fobs. If your case holds any of these sensitive items, remove them before charging or make sure that they aren’t between the back of your iPhone and the charger.

Find out more about wireless charging or to see if your charger is certified for use with Apple products, look here: How to wirelessly charge your iPhone

For steps on what to do if your iPhone won't charge wirelessly. Look at the "Learn more" section.

We hope this helps.

Cheers!

Thanks Manjor. The charger did work for my daughter’s IPhone XS so it does work on Apple products. I did remove the case and that made no difference. I did turn the phone off, placed it on the charger and turned it back on. It immediately started charging. I left it there for awhile, removed it from charger. When I put it back on the charger, it wouldn’t recognize it. I’ve done this several times with the same result. Is it possible that there is a setting I need to change? Any help is appreciated.

Thank you Judy sings. I do not have a USB attached when I put it on the charger stand. I did try to put it on charger when the phone had low battery. Still didn’t recognize my phone. Charger will only recognize my phone if I turn the phone off, put it on the charger and turn on the phone. It will charge phone. But when I put phone back on charger afterwards, it doesn’t recognize it. Strange situation.
