Charge ipad with 20w charger?

I have a 7th gen ipad and have recently bought a homepod mini.Can I use 20w charger to charge my ipad by fast charge?

You can uae that Apple 20W power/charging adapter block without any issues, but base model iPads, like the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th gen iPad models DO NOT support the fast charge PD ( Power Delivery ) charging protocol.

These iPad models DO NOT fast charge, at all.

Your base model 7th gen iPad will NOT fast charge.


However, with the 20W adapter, your 7th gen iPad will get a consistent and regular full 12W charge of your 7th gen iPad.
