Hello Edward,

Apple Support is the only one who can fix this for you. Click on this direct link for this specific issue → https://getsupport.apple.com/?caller=kbase&PGF=PGF63005&category_id=SC0245&symptom_id=23362

Ref.: If you see a message that says "Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes" - https://support.apple.com/HT208856

We are Apple product users just like you and do not know why other than Apple saying "there might be a problem with the payment method that you have on file."

Why Accounts Become Disabled:

When your iTunes Account has been disabled, that often happens due to suspicious activity --- Perhaps nothing on your part. They disable it for no more than Security & Privacy concerns.

Possible Reasons Could Include:

  • Too many unsuccessful login attempts
  • VPN (Virtual Private Network) usage
  • Consistent transactions
  • Session Times Out
  • Disobeying Terms & Conditions

Hello again Edward,

You were very specific as to the message you were seeing and Apple provides a help document just for that very specific error (I provided the link to that). Since you were very helpful and provided the specific error message, it suggested you were not seeing issues arising from a disabled Apple ID which another person was posting about. Security issues may result in an Apple ID being disabled but that is not what you are seeing here.
