Apple watch

My Apple Watch won’t stay charged for any longer than roughly 7 hrs. This is even with it being locked all day. I sent it back to Apple last year but they said it’s fine. It’s been like that from I first got it. I thought that’s just the way it was but after talking to other Apple Watch owners they said theirs lasts all day. Can you help as to why the charge life is so short?
