Bluetooth earbuds keeps disconnecting

Hi! Good day! I would like to ask for your assistance on my issue. I recently bought an wireless earbuds and tried to pair it with iPhone but it keeps on disconnecting when I play music (Spotify), play video (Youtube/Netflix) or playing games. I cannot hear anything then it disconnects after around 10 seconds then reconnect again. It’s just a continuous loop of disconnecting and reconnecting. It stays connected when in idle or if I’m just browsing the web or using any other apps that is not playing any sounds. I can use it in a regular call but not in Facetime. Hope someone can help me on this one. Thank you.


Tried the following troubleshooting:

Restarted both phone and earbuds

Pair/re-pair earbuds

Reset network configurations


Phone: iPhone 11 Pro Max

Software version: iOS 14.3

Earbuds: TWS BTH 241

We understand you're experinecing an issue with your Bluetooth headphones disconnecting from your iPhone, and we'd like to share some steps that may help.


To get started, make sure your iPhone is up to date on iOS 14.4: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


Also, when this occurs, check to see if the headphones show as "Not Connected" in Settings > Bluetooth.


Finally, in Settings > Bluetooth (not Control Center), turn Bluetooth off and on again, then see if the issue persists.

Thank you for the reply. I have completed items #1 and #3 and the issue is still happening. With regards to item #2, it’s a continuous loop with “Connected” > “Not Connected” > “Connected” > “Not Connected”. Hoping to have additional insight on this one please. Thank you.

Thanks for giving those steps a try, and sharing that information with us.


We asked about what the accessory shows in the Settings app to confirm the device showed as disconnected in Settings when the issue occurred and that the issue wasn't an audio disconnection.


Next, test if the issue occurs with any other Bluetooth accessories paired to your iPhone. If not, check with the headphones manufacturer to see if there are any firmware updates available.


Also, check for any sources of interference: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference
