I would like my wife to who is part of the family subscription to carry on with family sharing and for me to have my own account. I am currently the account holder for family sharing. I use the largest amount of storage so it makes sense for me to have my own separate 2TB account with the rest of the family sharing an account with my wife.
Can you tell me the best way to go about doing this.
You need to disband the existing family using the steps in the article below. The new organizer can then set up the new family and invite the family members to join the new family. If there are children under 13 years old, the new organizer needs to leave the existing family, set up the new family, and then the under 13 years old children can be transferred to the new family. Then disband the old family and join the new family.
