HDCP display

When trying to watch a movie downloaded from itunes I receive an error message saying I need a computer with a built-in display or I need to connect to a display that supports HDCP. How do I do this?

"movie can be played only on displays that support HDCP" I have a brand new Hitachi LCD projector. I have bought movies through iTunes and when I go to play them connecting my MacBook air to the lcd projector I get this message "movie can be played only on displays that support HDCP" It does not happy with every movie...some work some don't. How do I solve the "This movie cannot be displayed" error? I tried to play a movie from Apple TV on my M1 MacBook Air. It will not display. That hints you might be using VGA to connect to your monitor when DVI or HDMI might be a better connection method.
