The battery health management software (BHM) can put on hold your charging this is the new normal.

It interpolates your usage pattern and learns as it goes, and can hold it at 92% 84% 72% etc. however it deems best.

Click the battery icon in the upper right if you need 100% charge for portability (or Option click)

"When battery health management is turned on, your battery's maximum charging capacity might be limited. Although the feature is designed to improve your battery's lifespan, the limited maximum capacity might update your battery status menu to indicate a need for service. Your Mac calculates when to recommend service for your battery based on battery health management being continuously enabled."

ohh really? but does it help the battery cycle go up fast?

It is just the opposite of what you state—

The more you draw on the battery, the more cycle count it uses. It is not rocket science.

one more thing leroy, should i wait before i unplug my macbook until its 100%? or should i unplug it right away after staying at 99%?

Use it as you see fit. You do not have to micro-manage the battery.

No harm being on the mains 24/7 your battery will never over charge. The more you are on the mains the longer overall life the battery will have.

The general rule is if you are near the mains leave it plugged in, if you need portability then run on the battery.
