iPhone and Mac reminders show yellow warning triangles

My Mac is running Big Sur 11.2.1 (20D74).

My iPhone is running iOS 14.4 (18D52).

They are both therefore fully up to date.

A yellow triangle is appearing on Reminders on both devices

Looking into this matter, it appears to mean the two devices are not synchronising with each other.

But they are!

So why am I getting this warning icon?

The_Knowledge_Seeker,

Have you upgraded Reminders for iCloud? If not, see if you have an update option available as described in this article:

All the best.

Thanks for your advice Alwayswantingtohelp1.

I've checked my setup and all looks ok based on that article.

The odd thing is that syncing works fine between Reminders on all three devices (1 x MacBook Pro and 2 x iPhone SE 2nd Gen) plus iCloud.com.

I just can't see why the warning triangle is showing.

I even turned Reminders off on all three devices (triangle disappeared) and then then I turned them back on, the triangle returned.

Do I just ignore the triangle? Or is it warning me about something else?
