what is "other" on "manage storage"?

how do I access it to manage the storage there?

" Other " is a colection of various things like Cache files of the OS and installed Apps, log files, crash files and basically anyting not falling into Known Categories like Music, Vids, Photos, iOS files, etc.

This volume should not be tampered with at all and can lead to OS corruption or worse.
