Ipad pro 2020 playback using a yamaha digital piano as audio output.

I recently upgraded to 2020 ipad pro 12.9 inch. I tried connecting my ipad to yamaha p125 digital piano using apple usb-c to usb adapter to playback my music using the digital piano as output audio device.

everytime i play music, the output is very bad. It sounds choppy. I already used to usb c adapters.

but when i use my ipad 6th gen and iphone using the lighting to usb adapter, it plays the songs well.

how do i fix this?
