I have the iPhone12 based I have brought the MagSafe Charger and the nee power adapter and I am worried about charging my phone overnight.
Will it be okay and will it damage my phone/case.
The case is silicone from Amazon.

As long as the cable and charger are Original Apple and you do not place something on top of your phone so that it cannot get rid of the heat, do not worry about charging it at night.
But over time, the MagSafe charger will put marks on the cover. But it's not something that happens overnight.
All devices emit heat when charged. It can not be avoided. I have read that some people find that they get very hot, but I also think it is a matter of temperament. If you use an original charger, and an original MagSafe, then there is nothing to worry about.

I have the leather case on 12 pro max and i never had any issue with the magsafe overnight.
The truth is that it gets a bit hotter than i would like but no visual or any kind of damage.
Well then, just sit back and enjoy your new product, and be happy with how easy it has become to plug in its charger :-D

My case is a Slim Soft TPU Silicone One.
