I changed my iphone - latest iphone 12. Same number. However, for some reason my telephone number will not verify for imessage and facetime? I tried to reset network settings multiples times, reboot and reinitialize imessage for verification but it will not validate. It is properly a validated telephone number under my icloud account.

To clarify, are you able to send and receive SMS text messages without any issue? The reason we ask is that iMessage and FaceTime do require international SMS messaging to be active with the wireless carrier before they can activate. We have some more information here:
