I am having problems using my AOL email account though MS Outlook on my Mac. my aol account stopped working as the password wasn't recognised. I am using macOS Sierra ver 10.12.6. Any ideas? Upgrademac OS?

Solved. Go onto AOL, account and activate an App specific password for Outlook. Go back to Outlook, enter password. All working now.

I think I remember a pop up quite a while ago from AOL saying email was going to stop working unless you had the App. Mine’s stopped working today, but it’s all there on the App - which I think I downloaded she. I saw the pop up before.
