iPad Pro suddenly won't screen mirror w/MacBook Air. It was working fine, and automatically, now the iPad doesn't show up as a device to screen mirror with. Anyone have a fix?

It was working fine, and automatically, now the iPad doesn't show up as a device to screen mirror with. MacBook Air and iPad are on the same wifi network. I have restarted both devices. They are both updated with the most recent software updates.

Anyone have a fix?

Howdy edge3100,

It's great to have you in the Apple Support Community. It seems like you're are running into issues while attempting to use AirPlay. We can help out with that.

You can use AirPlay to stream or share content from your Apple devices to your Apple TV or AirPlay 2-compatible smart TV but not from your Mac to your iPad or iPad to your Mac. You can read more about this here:

Use AirPlay to stream video or mirror your device’s screen

Are you referring to using Sidecar? This lets you use your iPad as a second display for your Mac. You can read more about this here:

Use your iPad as a second display for your Mac with Sidecar

Have a fantastic rest of your day!
