Apple robo call

I am getting calls telling me my iCloud has been compromised and to press 1 to talk to a customer rep from apple. When I did I got someone from India telling me my account was compromised by someone in China and asking if I made any on line purchases in the last 7 days. When I said no they hung up.

When I attempt to call back is says the number is not in service. Thoughts? I’m adding this is NOT apple calling me. People should know

Apple does not make such calls.

All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to ignore the calls or hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.
