Your PC/Device needs to be repaired

I recently removed the partition for windows 10 bootcamp on my mac and everytime I booted in It gave me this same message so i just reset and held the option key. But this time all of a sudden my mac had completely frozen, I couldnt move anything on my computer screen so i reset it, when i held the option key nothing happened and im not sure what actually happened. Now when I hold the option key it just give me the “You PC/Device needs to be repaired” screen. Any ideas on what I need to do?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.14

Yes, DU should not be used. You will need to mount the EFI partition by hand and remove the Microsoft directory and reset SMC and NVRAM and then check if your W10 remnants go away.

In macOS Terminal, run
- sudo diskutil mount disk0s1
- Check if you have a EFI partition in macOS Finder.
- If you see an EFI partition, check if there is a Microsoft directory.
- It should look similar to ...

Thanks for putting it in simpler terms, theres just 1 problem. When I boot it up, it always goes into that windows 10 “You pc/device needs to be fixed” screen and im not sure what to do there because ive tried to reset both nvram/pram and the smc but both of them dont do anything.

I did not... I just removed the partitions from the disc utility on my mac. That was a bad idea wasnt it?

Ok so I got it to stop showing that screen, but now I have 2 bootup options which are efl and macos, I can go into macos now but how do I remove that efl option?
