Update 10.5.2 to 10.5.8 ?!

Hello!

I just installed OS X Leopard ( using the CPU Drop-in DVD ) on my A1134, 14' iBook. Went just fine!

Checked for Updates & installed everything listed...went just fine.

HOWEVER: although the iBook indicates that an Update is available--"Mac OS X Update Combined 10.5.8 768MB"--I cannot install it; after a few hours, there's some progress shown @ the blue status bar, but, it will not move beyond a certain spot...indeed, I let it run for nearly 4 hours, and the blue bar didn't move at all.

So: what do I need to do to install the 10.5.8 Update?
